The most important thing about editorial and beauty makeup is understanding how makeup looks on camera, in print media and in video, whether it is a basic makeup look or something more creative.

An editorial makeup artist has to interpret the concept of the shoot and create a look that will help to achieve the image a client, brand, photographer or art director requires.

Editorial work is working as part of a team, and through collaboration and communication we create an editorial piece that speaks to the target audience or the world of fashion, beauty and culture as a whole.

As part of the team I can be available from the whole process of creation, from the initial moodboard, right through to shoot day.

When working on a editorial I can assure the following:

  • punctual and professional service

  • makeup to complement the hair, clothes and concept

  • flexibility

  • working as part of the team

  • commitment

  • passion

  • good energy

  • communication

Editorials are fast paced and usually a few alternate makeup looks can be required, therefore I always start with a clean makeup look , working my way up to more creative makeup looks(if required). In my experience, this saves time on the shoot.

I can also provide simple hair styling / grooming.
